Pregnancy should not be a reason to cancel your vacation, unless directed by a doctor. It is best to always talk to your doctor and clarify all your doubts before deciding to go ahead with your vacation plans. However, there is no "forbidden" time and, for the convenience of pregnant women, the ideal period for travelling is up to 28 weeks of pregnancy. Between 28 and 36 weeks, a medical certificate may be requested, which must be issued up to 7 days before the departure date of your flight and must meet requirements such as indicating the weeks of pregnancy, the origin and destination of the trip, its duration and be issued by a doctor specialising in obstetric gynaecology.
